Brief
A limited bottle collection and a communication plan that appeals to college students in Ho Chi Minh City.
Idea
Marine animals are threatened by single-use plastic floating in the sea. Many mistake plastic for jellyfish or food and end up getting hurt.
One Hug Two Smiles focuses on three vulnerable sea creatures – the whale, the coral, and the turtle. Each is reimagined as a playful character, with simplified, abstract patterns inspired by their natural bodies.
These designs are integrated on a limited collection of reusable bottles and across other campaign materials.
The goal is to inspire people, especially students, to build stronger connections with nature by changing small habits, like choosing a reusable bottle.
The “hug” illustration wraps around the animal patterns, highlighting our message:
"By using reusable bottles, we protect nature and strengthen our bonds with others."
This message forms the campaign tagline: "One Hug Two Smiles" (English) / "Càng Ôm Càng Vui" (Vietnamese), a reminder to connect with each other and develop a deeper appreciation for the natural environment.
